in my dream it was a pool setting with black water with kind of big waves. there was someone in a lifeguard chair but i couldnt recognize who it was. but it was myself, my friend savannah, another friend lizzy. there was a huge ladder that went into the black water. it was narrow and deep. we went down in a line, savannah first then me then Lizzy. we climbed down. we couldnt see the end of the ladder. i got scared i said we should go back up, savannah calmed me down and lizzy kept saying its fine and that we had tanks on our back and she kept pushing us. but we climbed back up, reassed the plan, halfway through lizzy went missing and ryan appeared and started yelling at me randomly. one of us slipped. we floated into the black sea abyss. then it cut out, and now its me and lizzy talking outside of the water. im talking about how it would be cool to surf on black waves. then i woke up
Dreams often reflect our emotions, thoughts, and experiences. The pool setting with black water may symbolize feelings of uncertainty, fear of the unknown, or deep emotions that are not fully understood. Black water can evoke a sense of danger or mystery, suggesting that you may be dealing with a situation in your life that feels overwhelming or unclear.
The presence of your friends—Savannah and Lizzy—indicates a sense of camaraderie and support in navigating life's challenges. Savannah calming you down suggests that you have someone in your life who helps ground you when you feel anxious. Lizzy's insistence on pushing forward may represent someone encouraging you to embrace risks and explore new experiences, even if they feel intimidating.
The ladder can symbolize a journey or a path you're taking together, but its narrowness and depth indicate that it may be a challenging or risky endeavor. The fact that you couldn't see the end of the ladder suggests uncertainty about where this journey is leading you.
Ryan's sudden appearance and yelling could signify a disruption or conflict in your life, perhaps related to feelings of insecurity or criticism that you're experiencing. The missing element—and Lizzy's presence outside the water—can reflect a transition or realizing that you and your friends can step back and reassess your situation when things get overwhelming.
Finally, the mention of surfing on black waves after the intense experience indicates a desire to take control of your fears and potentially turn dark or challenging experiences into something thrilling and exciting. This part of the dream suggests that you're looking for ways to harness your emotions and navigate them creatively.
Overall, this dream seems to capture a journey through fear, the need for support from friends, the importance of reassessing risky situations, and the potential for growth and empowerment in facing the unknown.
